Lewis Visuals was founded in 2009 by our company director Genevieve Wells. In 2005 Genevieve graduated in Interior Architecture at the Farnham University of Creative Arts. Whilst studying she worked part time for several local architects to develop her CAD skills to put her ahead of her peers once she had graduated. For two years she worked as an Interior designer specialising in the office, retail and leisure sector. She then changed paths to focus on residential architecture. Within a year she had established a good reputation as an architectural technician which lead to being head hunted four times by large developers. Eventually she accepted a role as a technical coordinator for Redrow Homes.
This opened up many avenues and contacts for the future. In 2008 she was made redundant but straight away I was offered a position as a cad technician at Michael Conoley Associates working on high end residential houses. Michael was her last and best employer that has helped her over the years establish her own business, pass on leads and support her in becoming a Chartered Architectural Technologist. She is now an Assessor and Secretary for the South East Region of CIAT (her Professional Board).
Prior to starting Lewis Visuals she gained experience in both architecture and interior design for the retail, commercial and residential industry.
The projects range from Pizza Express, Commercial Interiors, a “Grand Designs” project, 150 residential units in a single development and one off luxury homes of up to 9000 sq ft. Having learnt the twin disciplines of interior design and architecture, she has been able to appreciate the external aesthetic quality of architecture, but also how internal surroundings benefit a person’s lifestyle.
Our company vision and mission is ‘transforming lives through design’. We achieve this by gathering comprehensive briefs from our clients to understand their requirements and give them design options to consider. Our cost effective solutions are the result of our extensive technical knowledge to meet the latest building regulation standards combined with the latest most innovative and sustainable products on the market
